RITES Resident Engineer Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online

Candidates must possess a full-time Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution along with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in construction, fabrication projects or equivalent field.

The maximum age limit for the Resident Engineer post is 40 years as on 27 April 2026, and relaxation in upper age is applicable for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates as per RITES and Government of India rules.

The selection process consists of a written test followed by document scrutiny, where the written test has 125 objective-type questions for 1 mark each (total 125 marks), duration 2.5 hours, no negative marking, and 100 percent weightage is given to written test marks for preparing the merit list.
